Nicolò Strozzi, PhD student at the WASN Lab, classifies third in the Track 2 “Pedestrian Dead Reckoning Positioning” competition at Seventh International Conference on Indoor Positioning and Indoor Navigation (IPIN 2016), Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, Spain. The used navigation system is described in the paper N. Strozzi, F. Parisi, and G. Ferrari, “A multifloor hybrid inertial/barometric navigation system,” published in the proceedings of IPIN 2016.

The WASN Lab is granted, as a donation by Texas Instruments, 10 Internet of Things (IoT) nodes with various communication capabilities. They will be integrated in the WASNLab IoT testbed.
