The paper “Design and deployment of an IoT application-oriented testbed,” authored by WASN Lab members (L. Belli, S. Cirani, L. Davoli, A. Gorrieri, M. Mancin, M. Picone, and G. Prof. Ferrari is nominated, by the Italian Ministry of Defense, as the only Italian representative (Technical Team Member) in the NATO Research Task Group HFM–260 “Enhancing Warfighter Effectiveness with Wearable Bio Sensors and Physiologicol Models,” in the period 2015-2018.

The WASN Lab is granted, as a donation by Texas Instruments, 50 Internet of Things (IoT) nodes with various communication capabilities. They will be integrated in the WASNLab IoT testbed.
