The Think&Talk meetings are a series of three meetings (Industry 4.0; Serialization, Track&Trace and Traceability; Regulatory aspects and currents regulations) to talk about pharmaceutical industry innovation, exchange ideas and perspectives about the future of manufacture inside the Open House.

The Wireless Ad-hoc and Sensor Networks (WASN) Lab has been renamed as Internet of Things (IoT) Lab, as most of the research activities revolve around the design and implementation of smart systems and cyber physical systems, i.e., the IoT ecosystem.

Nicolò Strozzi, PhD student at the WASN Lab, classifies third in the Track 2 “Pedestrian Dead Reckoning Positioning” competition at Seventh International Conference on Indoor Positioning and Indoor Navigation (IPIN 2016), Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, Spain. The used navigation system is described in the paper N. Strozzi, F. Parisi, and G. Ferrari, “A multifloor hybrid inertial/barometric navigation system,” published in the proceedings of IPIN 2016.
